Write Reviews for Review Stream
Well, I just started writing for Review Stream today, so I can't get into the details as to whether or not they live up to their end of the bargain. As of right now, I'm impressed. They will pay you $2.50 for every 200 word article that you write, every writer knows that 200 words is nothing. A fast writer can pump several of these short reviews out every hour.
The really nice part is that they will pay you an extra $0.10 per comment you get on your articles. Since your articles are so short, and if you were to spend an hour per day, you could potentially write over 1000 articles on Review Stream per year. If you receive ten comments per article, that would be an extra $1000 per year, a nice bump to any salary.
Here's the Catch
The potential catch is that they will only pay you the $2.50 if they deem your article of high enough quality. If your writing isn't legible, plagiarized, or you isn't written around your opinion, you could only earn $0.50 on the article. This is only 1/5 of the original amount. Review Stream also gives you the option of automatically choosing to accept the $0.50 consolation prize if your article isn't accepted. I tend to see this as an invitation for them to refuse an article. If they don't like it, you can always go back in and re-submit it with your opinion. This is why it is important to avoid writing your article around facts, instead of opinions. This is the exact opposite way every other site works, but hey, this is a review site.
Payment:
This is kind of weird. Review Stream will pay you when your account reaches $50.00. This means you would have to write at least 20 reviews, or just get a ton of comments. When you write an article, you will be required to provide an email address. This is the email address they will send the paypal payment to. So if you don't have a paypal account, it is time to get one. My personal belief is that they set it up this way to confuse people enough so that they wouldn't have to pay them. But I'm a cynic. I also believe everything deserves at least a try. So I have written a few reviews on restaraunts, products, and web programs to see what they accept and what they turn down. This will also let me know if they make payments on time. And I will pass my wisdom on to you.
