One of the best things about Triond is that they pay you once your account reaches a mere $.50. This means you won't have to wait long to make payout. This is good because you really won't generate a lot of income with Triond. The major thing that sets Triond aside from the competition is that they will allow you to post your creative writing as well as your informational stuff. Where else can you make money by posting your poetry?
Triond is a good site to develop some dofollow links for your articles, websites, or blogs. They don't sport the high pagerank that some of the non-paying articles sites offer (EzineArticles or Buzzle), so they compensate by paying you money for views, as well as sharing their Adsense revenue. They have just rolled out the Adsense sharing and a referral program so they are still working out the kinks. Triond is definitely not a place to get rich, but you can generate some link juice for other articles this way.
If you are easily offended, it is recommended that you avoid the Triond forums like the plague. It seems that they don't have, or desire, a moderator.
