There are two downsides of writing on Xomba. The first one is that the site doesn't offer dofollow links. This means that if you are intending to use Xomba to link back to your other works, don't. It won't do anything. The other downside is that there is so much content on Xomba, so you will have to do some marketing to get your work found. But these things aside, I have been able to generate some income with Xomba, although nowhere near as much as Ehow. There are success stories claiming that they earn a couple thousand dollars per month on Xomba. This is completely possible, but it will take more work than other sites would.
Xomba has an interesting structure for writing. Well, it actually has two interesting structures for writing. They are called Xomblurbs and Xombytes, but before we get into that, let's talk about pay. Xomba splits the Adsense earnings that you generate for them straight down the middle. This means that you will need an Adsense account to be able to benefit from Xomba this way. Xomba also lets you post some affiliate links in your Xombytes and Xomblurbs.
Xombytes are basically articles that you would write for any other site. You are able to put your own affiliate links in these and it is a good way to generate some extra earnings. Also, Google is more likely to rank your Xombytes higher than Xomblurbs because they contain more words. Here are some of my Xombytes:
Xomblurbs are short little excerpts or descriptions of articles that you either wrote or found interesting. You still make 50% of all the Adsense revenue generated by these short little blurbs. It is a good way to drive a little extra traffic to your existing articles. Here are some of my Xomblurbs.
